Mark Coborn is currently on the Board of Coborn’s, Inc and is in the 4th generation to run Coborn’s. Coborn’s, Inc. operates 120+ grocery, convenience, liquor and other retail locations throughout the Midwest, and employs more than 9,000 people. Mark began his career with Coborn’s, at age 13 in 1975 cleaning the parking lot at the Coborn’s store in Sauk Rapids, Minn. He eventually rose through the ranks, including training director, human resources director, VP of human resources and, eventually, Executive Vice President. Mark retired in 2012. Mark Graduated from the University of Minnesota with a degree in Journalism in 1984. Mark has also served on the Boards for the United Way for Central Minnesota and CentraCare Health Foundation.
